The Creature Teacher will need one table at least 8 feet in length -two tables if they are shorter than 8 ft. long. |

PREPARING FOR THE EVENT |
|
|
|
1) Tables should be placed several feet away from a wall. The Creature Teacher will stand between the tables and the wall. This way children and parents will not be able to "swarm" the table from all sides, ensures the line will flow forward at a steady pace and makes your event more manageable and enjoyable for everyone.
2) The Creature Teacher will need to set up in a quiet spot away from foot traffic. Guests and event workers passing by will create a distraction, tend to get in the way of the set up and start to get in line earlier than the scheduled time you've arranged with The Creature Teacher. If this is not possible, please appoint an event worker for crowd control to escort folks to another activity and provide them with information on when The Creature Teacher booth will be open for visitors.
3) Please provide a parking space for The Creature Teacher that is close to the table set up as many trips are needed to bring in equipment and animals. |

4) Stanchions of some kind should be used continuously from the beginning of the start line to the end of the finish line to maintain control of the crowd. Stanchions can be made out of rope, twine, etc. Please provide signs labeling the start and finish lines. |

|
|
5) Indoor accommodations are recommended and preferred however if your event must be held outside, please provide complete shade over The Creature Teacher booth. Large shade trees or pavillions are best. Portable tents are not acceptable as they only provide shade underneath the tent when the sun is directly over head. At all other times of the day, the tent will create a humid, hot environment directly in the sun. If your event is outdoors, please place tables for The Creature Teacher booth in a spot or area where guests have access to ONLY ONE side of the booth. All events must be held indoors during the following months due to extreme weather conditions: January, February, July, August, December. |

THE EVENT ITSELF |
|
|
|
1) All event guests may go through the line as many times as they prefer. |
|
|
|
2) Up to 10 animals may be on display and all animals will be selected at The Creature Teacher's discretion. |
|
|
|
3) Children and parents will be asked to use hand sanitizer before and after touching the animals. Animals may not be picked up but may be gently touched. Individuals who are not being kind to the animals will be asked to leave the line and not return. |
|
|
|
4) Food and drink are not permitted around the animals (for the health and safety of humans and animals.) Please provide a large trash can at the start line so folks may throw away their food items before entering the line. |
|
|
|
5)Children under 3 years of age will NOT be permitted to touch the animals. The Creature Teacher will post signs on the tables for the parents stating this rule. |

CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING
Here at The Creature Teacher we realize life is unpredictableHere at The Creature Teacher, we realize life is unpredictable and for some unforeseen reason you may need to cancel your scheduled show. You may cancel without penalty fee however we do ask that you give us as much prior notice as you possibly can so that we may give your spot to someone else who may have been turned down after you booked your show.
The Creature Teacher also assumes you will show us the same courtesies as we too are human and have unexpected circumstances therefore we do reserve the right to cancel a show due to severe illness, death in the family and hazardous or unsafe weather/driving conditions (such as near by tornadoes, severe hail storms, flash flooding). In this event, all efforts will be made to reschedule your show at the earliest date and time available.
If you need to reschedule your show, we will do our best to accommodate you and ask that all rescheduling be done by phone. Please do not email us with this important information as email is at times unreliable. Thank you.

HOW TO MAKE PAYMENT
A deposit is not required. You may make payment in full on the day of the show either cash or check. Credit cards are not accepted. Please make all checks payable to The Creature Teacher
Tipping is not mandatory but is accepted and shows your appreciation to your entertainer for delivering a quality performance and providing goods and services to your event. |

GENERAL INFORMATION
Animals are not permitted inside restaurants. Please do not plan your event in a food establishment as I will not be able to set up the Touch Table event at such a facility.
