MOSTLY MAMMALS

This class offers a combination of several  mammals,  invertebrates and 1 bird. Terminologies covered  include extinct, nocturnal, hibernate, and insectivore. 30 minute show includes: Hairless Guinea Pig,  African Pygmy Hedgehog, Chinchilla, Rabbit, Senegal Parrot and Hermit Crabs. 45 minute show : add Short Tailed Opossum  and a Guinea Pig. 60 minute show: add Rose Haired Tarantula and Giant Black African Millipede.

REALLY REPTILES

This class offers 8 different reptiles and amphibians. Terminologies covered includes cold-blooded, molting, nocturnal, hibernate, camoflauge, and regeneration. 30 minute show includes: Ball Python, Box Tortoises, Bearded Dragon, Veiled Chameleon,  Leopard Gecko, and an African Bullfrog. 45 minute show: add Blue Tongued Skink and Spiny-Tailed Lizard. 60 minute show: add Barred Tiger Salamander and Milk Snake.

All shows are designed to reinforce concepts and terminologies children have learned in their school science class such as camoflauge, hibernation, noctornal, etc. (All shows relate to one or more of the science concept objectives in TEKS tests for K through 6 grades.) Differences among animal classification such as reptiles, mammals, insects, amphibians, birds and  invertebrates will be explained. The Creature Teacher  also explains about unique characteristics of all individual animals (what they eat, where they live, how they defend themselves, etc.) The Creature Teacher reserves the right to make animal substitutions when deemed necessary, i.e. illness or injury of a particular animal.

30 minute shows include 6 animals, 45 minute shows include 8 animals and 60 minute shows include 10 animals

CREATURES OF THE WORLD

We will start with an animal from right here in Texas and continue with animals from various countries across the globe, ending with an animal from Australia. Also, covers other wild animals that live in these regions including some endangered species.
30 minute show includes: Salamander (USA),Senegal Parrot (Africa), Spiny-Tailed Lizard (Asia), Bearded Dragon (Australia), Chinchilla (South America) and Guinea Pig (South America). 45 minute show includes: add Milk Snake (Mexico) and Vietnamese Walking Stick Insect (Asia). 60 minute show includes: Rose-Haired Tarantula (Chile) and African Bullfrog (Africa) This class not available for birthday parties.  Animal substitutions can be made if you would like to see a specific animal from a particular country.

COLORS, NUMBERS AND NOISES

This class is designed specifically for preschool age children. We will start with animals that have zero legs and count our way up! Also included are color identification, the way an animal moves, body part functions  and a little bit of noise making. 
30 minute show includes: Milk Snake, Senegal Parrot, Guinea Pig,  Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, Rose-Haired Tarantula, Hermit Crabs. 45 minute show: add Box Tortioses and Giant Black African Millipedes. 60 minute show: add Vietnamese Walking Stick Insects and Barred Tiger Salamanders.

THE CREEPY & SLIMY

This show includes all insects and arthropods and few others. 30 minute show: Giant Black African Millipeds, Rose Haired Tarantula, Assorted Hermit Crabs, Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, Vietnameses Walking Stick Insect and Barred Tiger Salamander 45 minute show: add African Bullfrog and Milk Snake 60 minute show: add any other animals you would like

This show includes 6 real fossils of creatures that live in the sea.
This show not available for birthday parties. You may choose the 6 fossils for the show. Due to the delicate and fragile nature of the fossile, touching is not permitted. Please limit your audience to 150.
Also makes a great display table for your next luau or special event!
