Middle of horseshoe should remain empty.
CREATURE TEACHER and wagon PLACED HERE
1) Lizards represent where children should sit. *** represent where adults should sit.
2) Please leave the inside of the horseshoe empty-- free of end tables, toys or any items that will get in the way or make a "maze" for The Creature Teacher to walk around the inside of the circle.
3) Children will be asked to sit "criss-cross applesauce" with hands in their lap, listening ears on and a bubble in their mouth. Children must remain sitting down throughout the show. The Creature Teacher will walk around the inside of the "horseshoe" so all children may touch the animals.
4) Please limit the number of children to 25 for birthday parties and 40 for schools, libraries, scouts, etc.
5) Please be prepared for inclement weather. Indoor, air conditioned facilities are recommended if outdoor temperatures exceed 85 degrees and indoor, heated facilities are recommended should the outdoor temperature fall below 60 degrees. Shows must be indoors during July and August and December, January and February.
5) Ideas for creating your "horseshoe" or "semi-circle": haybales, benches, animal pictures taped to floor, masking tape on floor, carpet squares, chalk outline on garage floor or cement driveway, chairs, blanket or quilt large enough for children to sit on the outer edges.
6) All children must be 3 years of age or older to pet the animals.
7) Please review our POLICIES and GENERAL INFORMATION prior to your scheduled event and call or email us if you have any questions.
